So you think a discussion of how to respond to messages is off topic
when responding to someone who posts in the thread.  I hardly think so.

But, if it is OT, how do we maintain a defined atmosphere that is
suitable for the community.?  And more importantly, how does a response
in a new thread get 1) related to the post it is about, and 2) get to
the attention of the one whose actions are being "corrected".?
