Is this the initial "Fedora" screen that comes up right at the start of an
installation - - giving the install options?
I get the install screen and below it a "boot:" line.
Hitting "a" just types an "a" in to the boot line. If I type "nofb" or a
space then "nofb", I get "could not find kernal image: nofb".
So I guess im on the wrong screen.
I read the release notes just now - but I still cant see when Im supposed to
be hitting 'a' and entering "nofb".
Really sorry for sounding so dumb....

When the grub display comes up, hit "a" on the keyboard. This should display
the boot command line. Add a space and then nofb.
BTW, have you read the release notes?
