ndiswrapper Broadcom wireless (was: Slighty OT Laptop Recommendation)

Mike,

I have that one in my Dell.

02:03.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g
Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)

It works fine with ndiswrapper and the Dell driver.  I've even had other
people run the Dell driver for the BCM4306 on other manufacturers
hardware.
