100% Linux - Is it possible?

I've been exclusively Linux for almost three years. However there is some 
question as to whether I have a life or not.

More to the point: Before I retired in 2001, I was a mechanical design 
engineer. The industries in which I was employed spoke mostly Autocad with a 
bit of Pro-E on the side. No others need apply. Guess what? Both programs are 
Windows only. It's been a while since I checked, but AFAIK neither will run 
under Wine or Win4Lin. I expect that similar situations exist in other fields 
as well. However, if this doesn't apply to your situation, then why waste the 
disk space?
