You'll need to

1) add Fedora Extras repository

2) add rpm.livna.org repository

http://mpeters.us/linux/post_fc3.php#livna

Then try

yum update gstreamer-plugins-mp3

That *may* just be all you need to do.
If the rpms you installed get in the way - use

rpm -e packagename

to uninstall package packagename
