sound and internet problems on FC2

I'll pretty much say the same as you guys have... about the USB device,
try submitting alittle bit more information, what does /sbin/lsusb say?
(you don't have to be root for this), if you can, submit /sbin/lsusb -v
as root.
About the sound issue, what's the soundchip you have?? Apparently this
is a common issue with some models of i810 soundchips, but vary from
person to person. Secondly I'd *strongly* suggest you update ALSA to a
newer version, since the one in FC2 is *quite* outdated, and things have
changed SO MUCH from the ALSA 1.0.3 days. You may google around for some
rpms, you can check http://tettnang.freshrpms.net, though my
*personal*suggestion would be to install it directly from the
alsa-project site, but that's just me (been running alsa-project's
packages since version 0.90 and on RH 9, FC1, 2 & 3).
