Hi I assume selecting > mysql is not the same as selecting mysql-server? mysql provides the client software while mysql-server contains the deamon and server stuff. you can find information about any package with rpm rpm -qi <package> (installed package) or less <package.rpm> (rpm file) -- Regards, Rahul Sundaram
