gam_server at 100%

Today I just noticed the CPU usage change drastically as given by
GKrellM system monitor. After closing down my distributed computing
application I noticed 1 logical CPU still @ 100% and looking at top gave
gam_server running 100%. Checking the logs I notice gam_server has had
segment faults with the following given:

Feb 6 09:57:21 Jenny kernel: gam_server[5512]: segfault at
0000000000000026 rip 0000000000403997 rsp 0000007fbfffd398 error 4

I am running FC3 i386_64 on a dual Xeon 3.2 GHz 800MHz FSB with the 64
bit extensions on an ASUS NCCH-DL mb with 2-1 Gb sticks of Corsair Ram.
I am using kernel 2.6.10-1.741_FC3smp kernel. The 760 kernel won't
boot, the system just goes into continuous reboots. Gamin version
0.0.17-1 with the i386, x86_64 and devel rpms installed.

I noticed that there was a bug report on this also but no solution
listed. I haven't read the LONG list of messages in it's entirety yet
but will endeavour to do so.

A reboot solves the server running at 100%, but this is no solution.
Does anyone know of anything that I can try to fix this problem

TIA.
