Several subscribers have posted messages recently about the difficulty 
of using TurboTax with linux systems, including use of their online tax 
filing system.

For those U.S. taxpayers who care to pursue online filing, check out 
http://www.irs.gov/app/freeFile/jsp/index.jsp?

The IRS site lists 18 firms providing online filing services, several of 
which are free to all individuals without restriction as long as you 
access the firm's online filing system through the IRS site.  TurboTax 
is one of the 18.
