ASUS P5GD2 Marvell Yukon 88E8053 gigabit ethernet not detected/loaded

Gee, that board can handle 8 SATA drives! Pretty cool.

Anyhow I'm wondering if the onboard wifi has to be shut down in order 
for the Marvell ethernet to work?
