Fedora 3 hangs on boot after laoding HAL daemon

Hi,

I have installed Fedora Core 3 on a PII 233Mhz 512MB RAM system. The installation went smoothly. Seleted GRUB to boot.

The boot process (graphical) hangs right after loading HAL Daemon. The compter freezes completey and only the reboot button works. 

On top right corner where there is an animated arrow moving in a circle (that freezes as well), it says something about "Red Hat Network Support". 

Could anybody please help me?
