regardless of one's other efforts, we are judged by the entirety of our
efforts.

That being said, Marco was out of line in that he wasn't involved in the
matter. He should have recommended that course of action to the original
operator - David Cary Hart (from memory) - who could choose to act on
his feelings since it was he that was involved. It was David's
effrontery and he asked us to validate his feeling. I think he got
affirmation to both sides (naturally).

I suppose it could be said that Marco was sticking his nose into other
people's business. Trying not to forget the lessons from my childhood -
nobody likes a tattletale.
