Yes, I believe I do not have the requirements but should not it at least boot from the CD. I wonder whether I should have the md5sum file on all 4 CDs. Other processors (notably, offerings from AMD, Cyrix, andVIA) that are compatible with and equivalent to the following Intelprocessors may also be used with Fedora Core.*Minimum: Pentium-classFedora Core 3 is optimized for Pentium 4 CPUs, but also supportsearlier CPUs (such as Pentium, Pentium Pro, Pentium II, PentiumIII, and including AMD and VIA variants). This approach has beentaken because Pentium-class optimizations actually result inreduced performance for non-Pentium-class processors, and Pentium4 scheduling is sufficiently different (while making up the bulkof today's processors) to warran!

However, additional disk space is required during the installation to support theinstallation environment. This additional disk space corresponds to thesize of /Fedora/base/stage2.img (on CD-ROM 1) plus the size of the filesin /var/lib/rpm on the installed system. In practical terms, this means that as little as an additional 90MB canbe required for a minimal installation, while as much as an additional175MB can be required for an "everything" installation. Also, keep in mind that additional space will be required for any userdata, and at least 5% free space should be maintained for proper systemoperation.*Custom Installation (Minimal): 620MB*Server: 1.1GB*Personal Desktop: 2.3GB*Workstation: 3!
