php-5 rpm ??

was curious if there will ever be a rpm for php-5. I know that the 
source is available
and I could build php-5 from source along with apache with mysql support .

I was hoping that  php-5 was an upgrade path from php-4 and there would 
be package
available for the upgrade, or is there 2 different camps for php and 
that is why
php-4 is the packge currently available.

Can someone enlighten me
