HP656C prints blank pages

1.  Did you select the manufacturer and printer model in Printer
Configuration for usblp0 before trying the test print?

2.  Have you tried using the other queues as default?
  
3.  Why didn't you choose the "deskjet-656c-1" queue?  

Just because your printer is connected via a usb connection does not
mean that cups is not capable of setting up the printer for you.
