also new to Linux & FC3...
I have FC3 installed on a HP zt1180 lap top
When I boot up , the display fills about 3/4 of the screen biased to
the right. It is also split, and duplicated on the lower quarter of the
screen. The mouse pointers move in unison on both screens. I can see
about 2/3rds of the desktop in the upper part and 1/3 in the lower
part. This was happening in the boot splash screens as well.
I was able to fiddle with the display settings, and now the boot splash
screens and login screen appear OK, but once I log in I'm back to the
schizo split screen.
Is there any hope for this laptop, or do I ebay it and buy another?
