dhcppc1 in the file /etc/hosts error

After Gnome user login I got the following message:
"Could not look up internet address for dhcppc1. This will prevent gnome from working properly. It is possible to correct the problem by adding dhcppc1 in the file /etc/hosts".

any idea how to resolve this or actually add it into the file?
I can't find that file.

I did find this link

but I don't see 
Launch->Preferences->Network Settings->DNS
in my version.

Alex pointed out a known undocumented feature of FC3, that the ide-cd 
subsystem is broken when running the mediacheck program with DMA access 
enabled.  The way to get around this is to type in linux ide=nodma when 
installing.  If you do not run mediacheck, the installation completes 
without error (in most cases).  The problem usually is not a bad 
download of the ISO disk image file.
