proper way to write changes in grub.conf

Hi

 I'd just run "/sbin/lilo" as root and it
> would be updated, however, just running "/sbin/grub" asks for more options,

unlike lilo you dont need to run any command after updating the
options in grub.conf. the bootloader directly reads this file from the
linux partitions which lilo couldnt do.

after editing the file, just save and reboot.
