FC2 6.5.10 usb mount problems?

Jack sorry to respond so late:

I had a system running FC2 with similar problems after , I also upgraded to 
kernel-6.5.something after much bla bla.....
I discovered I was loading the usb-uhci module.
add it to /etc/hotplug/blacklist and see
