You apparently need to boot from a floppy???
If so keep your RH9 floppy!

You can boot that floppy in rescue mode, mount the CDROMs
and populate /boot with the necessary boot files
to bootstrap an install.

Look in the archives for hints and details.

Some other common rescue things can be done
from the RH9 floppy environment too.
