A few 'hints' to the autolayout would be a big help for the multi-drive
situation: maybe some checkboxes for '/home on it's own drive', '/var
on it's own drive', 'RAID1 mirror all partitions to the next adjacent
drive', and maybe even 'make the partitions in the order they were
assigned'.  It would be nice if there were a way to do this in DD that
made a repeatable kickstart file.
