GNOME File Selection

Hi,

I wonder if I am the only one who considers the current GNOME file
selection dialog highly counter-productive and counter-intuitive.

Instead of just typing the file name as with previous versions I need to
additionally open the file system browser and locate the (same) target
folder for every file.

Additionally I have already created many unwanted folders because the
new feature to type the name in the file system browser misinterprets
loosing the focus as enter. A directors called 'Type name of new folder'
is really great, especially when it can neither be deleted or renamed
from this dialog.

Tom

PS: If this is a plot to make file selection worse than windoof, it
succeeded :-(((
