Kudzu and CL5465 graphical chip

On an old machine I  have a Cirrus Logic 5465 graphical board.
At each start-up, kudzu says that a new component has been found, I let 
him expire his time and boot proceeds.
Of course the same if I say to reconfigure the board.
It is a minor issue, but what is it??
