FC3 cannot boot from a floppy, as the boot image is too large to fit on a 
floppy.

There are other methods than a floppy install.  Search the list archives, as 
alternate methods have been discussed in the last few days.

One thought .. you say your PC cannot boot from CD .. this is quite unusual in 
a system nowdays .. have you checked your BIOS settings to make sure that the 
CD drive is checked for a boot disk before it looks at the hard-drive?
