Using 2.6 kernel still unusably slow

I think it was the IDE change for a multi-port interface but I'm not

Two things to keep in mind:

1. Just because there is a new kernel doesn't mean that you have to use
it or that you will even benefit from using it.

2. I don't want to start a debate so this is just my opinion. I NEVER
use the stock kernels. They are loaded with gratuitous bloat to make
them run on a broad spectrum of machines.

To make life simpler, I'm starting to put the source rpms on our web-
site (probably not permanently) so that a double or more complex compile
is not necessary.

That said, when I'm not running companies, I'm teaching people how to
sell; I'm far from a geek so if I can do it . . .
