How to stop evolution mark unread new mails as old.

Hello,

I am running evolution ver 2.0.2. I have maildir format folders.
Evolution marks the new mails as old when invoked but I want that the
new unread mails should remain new but I could not find any option to
tweak this setting.

Is it possible in evolution and how?
