Install of fc3 hangs when loading module aic7xxx

Hi all,

when installing fc3 the installer always hangs when
loading the module aic7xxx. I really need this module
to access my hdd ;-(
Last message while installing is
Loading module aic7xxx from /modules/module.cgz


Is there a way to insert a working module into the
boot cd?
