Firefox, Thunderbird and %#$@* Evolution

I'm using xfce at the moment, although I used Gnome until recently. I 
don't think the environment is relevant.  Here are the three settings:

network.protocol-handler.app.mailto user set string /usr/bin/thunderbird

mozex.command.mailer user set string 
thunderbird mailto:%A?Subject%S&Cc=%C&body=%B

Also,

mozex.intercept.mailto  user set  true


Since I had previously set these up for evolution, they were already in 
user set status.
