Sure, or with the Search tool, that's not the point.  /When/ do you look
for them?  Do /you/ remember to look for them every time you run Up2Date
(every day if you have some sort of automatic update)?  Have you ever
forgotten to look?

Every problem on *nix has a simple, tedious, convoluted command-line
solution, and it's always the victim's fault when they didn't remember to
do it before the problem occured.  Up2Date goes half-way in fixing the
problem of updates (when it works at all).
