Oops.  As penance, I have read the bug in Bugzilla.  I see nothing helpful
in the comments.  I now think Hoffmann should add a comment to that bug,
not submit a new bug.  As far as what to do each time, I would think that
"Do not activate" is fine, as "activate" won't work anyway.
