Hi list;

I've done the following:

1) installed the gpg-key and repo from kde-redhat
(http://kde-redhat.sourceforge.net/)

2) installed the gpg-key for fresh RPM's via:
# rpm -Uvh
http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/freshrpms/fedora/linux/3/freshrpms-release/freshrpms-release-1-1.fc.fr.noarch.rpm

Then I ran the following commands:
yum install kde qt arts kdelibs kdebase gtk+ gtk2 redhat-artwork

yum update

The login screen I see now is the standard (non-graphical) screen (i.e. plain
blue background with login/passwd entry boxes)

What I would like to see is the old style KDE graphical login.
My /etc/sysconfig/desktop file has the following entries:
DESKTOP="GNOME"
DISPLAYMANAGER=KDE

Note: I tried changing the desktop entry to KDE and noticed no difference in
the login screen.

Anyone know how I can get my system to use/show the graphical KDE login
screen?

Thanks in advance for your help.
