FC-4 mySQL-Server Problems

My mySQL-server screwed up, dropped all users, and will not let me in.

Whatever I do I get the following error-message "DBI connect failed :
Access denied for user ''@'localhost' to database 'mysql'"

I've tried to reinstall the server w/o success.

How do I restore the functionality?
