Note that I have a patch to HAL which fixes this; I've attached it to bug 163865: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=163865 If anyone really needs a fix and doesn't feel comfortable with building a fresh package from Fedora CVS with this patch applied, contact me privately and I'll give you a link to my packages. - J<
