FC4 - unexplained lockups, system will not start

Hmm... I'll have to try that when I get home.  I had been hoping to get some
graphics accelleration on the machine, but slow is still faster than stop.

That should be fun...  Wouldn't any problems get logged, at least for things
for which I have monitors?
