Getting Gnome/nautilus to use Xpdf instead of ggv

I have a stock FC3 install, and I'm using Firefox and Thunderbird.

Couple of questions about configuring the environment...

How do I get Thunderbird to be the "registered" email application?

And when opening files and/or email attachments, how do I get
the system (whether it be via Thunderbird, Firefox, or the file
browsers, etc) to want to open .pdf files via "Xpdf" instead of Ggv?
