As Rick already said, here you have to use the single IP and not IP/net.
And IMHO you should use port 631. So it should be

192.168.0.2:631

That is correct. The "/printers/<queue name>" is the syntax of CUPS.

Here an example of my CUPS setup on my local workstation.

$ grep URI /etc/cups/printers.conf
DeviceURI lpd://NETGEAR/P1
DeviceURI lpd://NETGEAR/P1
DeviceURI http://metatron.dogma.lan:631/printers/HylaFAX-Printer
DeviceURI cups-pdf:/

The first 2 are 2 differently printers queues (both HPLJ6MP-PS with
different configurations). The third is the shared CUPS printer on my
server machine. Like this one you need to have an entry of your DeskJet
5550 in your printers.conf on box #2

DeviceURI http://<IP or name of box #1>:631/printers/deskjet5550

In printers.conf on box #1 the same printer is listed as

DeviceURI usb://... [can tell you exactly]

The forth DeviceURI in my printers.conf is a virtual printer for
creating PDFs (http://cip.physik.uni-wuerzburg.de/~vrbehr/cups-pdf/).

Hope this information helps.

Alexander
