Bootsplash can be used for FC3 or not?

Hi,
I am using Linux Fedora core 3.
Can i use bootsplash to my linux or not?
if yes which version of bootsplash can i use?
whether bootsplash is available as a rpm package or not?
because in bootsplash.org i found that it is a programm .
so how can i compile that code in my kernal?
if u know plz reply me.
