commi not writing, only reading on fc3

You mean you can't get the switch to accept anything that you type on
your PC? Can this be handshaking? Wiring of the TX line from the PC?
Can the switch see any output from any program?

Commi works well here, although I have to init my USB <-> serial port
adapter via minicom first. Whether that's a problem with the adapter or
