GPG signature

If you were using yum rather than up2date as Alexander suggested, yum
would prompt you for permission to import the gpg key, which it would
find automatically.

If you really do prefer up2date, what you need to do is:
# rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-fedora
and
# rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-fedora-extras

(you could actually import both at the same time but that would have
caused line-wrap in the message, which might might have confused things)
