FC-4 mySQL-Server Problems

Try this :

/etc/init.d/mysqld stop

safe_mysqld --user=root --pid-file=/usr/local/mysql/data/mysqld.pid
--skip-grant-tables &

mysql -u root mysql

This way you can enter mysql in safe mode .. and see what the problem is !
