'Reply-to-all' has been the normal way to respond to internet mailing
list messages since they were invented.  Some lists insert a Reply-To:
with the list address which is probably reasonable on a technical
list but is controversial on others where a plain 'reply' is expected
to be private and accidentally directing this to the list instead could
be embarrassing or worse.  If you aren't interested enough in a topic
to put up with an extra copy of responses, why post about it at all?
