RHEL vs Fedora is not OT, it is on topic.

RHEL4 (based on FC3):=>
- supported for 5 years
- stability (packagewise and updates don't break your
system)
- support from RedHat
- support for apps like Oracle and ISV's
- SLA's

Fedora Core3 (goes to legacy hall of doom in October
2005) :=>
- Fedora is released 4-6 months and supported for 6-8
months
- You are looking at 3000+ updates including 20
kernels
- No stability or SLA's
- testing ground for RHEL (look at SELINUX that was
broken in FC2, worked in FC3 and incorporated into RHEL4)

Fedora Core - The power of Open Source Now! Please search the archives and http://fedoraforum.org as the question is likely to have been asked before. RH9 -> FC3 -> FC6 (Jan 2007)
