Like Paul I tried to resist replying to this thread when I saw it start. 
I only wish to say that I diasagree with the politically conservative, 
immigrant wary views express and warn that this discussion in no way 
belongs on this list. This anti-immigrant strain was introduced by 
taharka - lets keep our politics to ourselves shall we - you don't want 
to read a socialist, anti-imperialist rant from me now do you? ;-)
