Try this:
$ sed 's|^http://\(.*/\)\(.*\)|<a href="\1\2">\1</a>|g; s|href="|
href="http://|g' /input/file/with/links > /output/file/with/clicklinks
It's minimal changed from the first example, which didn't things well
when i tried it out with your uri.
