You may not get what you would get by running a fresh install of
upcoming FC4. The yum online upgrade is no supported upgrade path.
Especially test release -> stable release implies unpredictable results.

Not really, as you would need to transfer many MB though. Get CD1 and
CD2 (i suspect that these are enough) and do a minimal install. Then yum
install (i.e. using groupinstall) to get additional stuff.
