palm doesnt work since FC4

hello,

i have updated to fedora core 4, now my palm sync doesnt work. :-(

if i push the sync button on my cradel (palm t3) i get the following 
error message:

The Application "gpilotd" has quit unexpectedly.

You can inform the developers of what happened to help them fix it.  Or 
you can restart the application right now.


any ideas what i can do? install via pilot-xfer works.
