FC4: backspace does not work in vi

Thanks for the reference. Using the last suggestion, adding
'*ttyModes: erase ^?' to XTerm, fixed backspace when using vi(m)
in an xterm. 

But it does not work when using vi under mutt in an xterm!
There backspace still produces '^?'.
