Where should dhcpd.conf go?

I just installed dhcpd and can't find the config directory in /etc. I'm
coming from Gentoo which puts the dhcp config files (for client and
server) in /etc/dhcp. I've googled a little and have found references
to it just being in /etc as /etc/dhcpd.conf. I see it's version is
dhcp-3.0.2 so maybe the config file should be in a directory named that.
Anybody know where to put it?
