FC4 issues with wireless, sound and serial

If you are using NetworkManager - try disabling it and using standard
networking.
That worked for me (though different card - madwifi)

Same thing for me (Thinkpad T20)
I did find though that if I turn all the mixers all the way up - I can
hear static.
