Login impossible: Problem with util-linux-2.12p-9.5 (FC4)

Hi,

after "yum update" on sunday, June 19, login is impossible..
I found out that the new new installed util-linux-2.12p-9.5
is responsible for this behaviour. Some strange entries
in /var/log/messages:

Jun 20 07:14:21 sunny login(pam_unix)[2920]: session opened for user
backes by (uid=0)
Jun 20 07:14:21 sunny pam_loginuid[2920]: set_loginuid failed opening
loginuid
Jun 20 07:14:21 sunny pam_loginuid[2920]: set_loginuid failed

I had to comment out the following line in /etc/pam.d/login:

	
#session    required     pam_loginuid.so

Now, login runs.
